DJI Matrice 4TD: the thermal drone of the pack

The DJI Matrice 4TD is specifically designed to work with the Dock 3. It features four cameras and a laser rangefinder, providing exceptional versatility for 24/7 fixed surveillance. Its flight time is up to 49 minutes and its IP55 certification guarantees resistance to dust and splashing water.

The thermal imaging camera detects heat leaks, temperature anomalies and intrusions even in complete darkness. The 48 MP TV camera captures details — signs, cracks, people — from more than 250 meters away. By tilting the pod up to 80°, the M4TD even inspects the underside of structures such as bridges.

FlightHub 2: The DJI Dock 3 Control Center

DJI FlightHub 2 is the cloud platform that brings the 24/7 surveillance system to life. From a simple web browser, you can manage all your automated assignments, wherever you are.

The Swap Task feature allows two Dock 3 devices to rotate their drones alternately. While one is charging, the other is flying. This rotation provides truly uninterrupted air coverage.

Developers can deploy their own object recognition models on the Matrice 4TD, thanks to the onboard computing power of 10 TOPS. DJI provides the tools for training, validating, and distributing the models. This capability opens up a variety of perspectives: vehicle counting, identification of defects, detection of wild animals.

Recurring infrastructure inspection

Power lines, solar panels, pipelines and wind turbines: Dock 3 runs inspection rounds at scheduled intervals. The infrared camera identifies abnormal hot spots. The TV camera detects cracks and structural defects from a long distance. The results are automatically archived in FlightHub 2.
