Built for the dock: operations with no pilot on site

The Matrice 4TD is the aircraft of DJI’s drone-in-a-box solution: housed in the DJI Dock 3, it takes off, runs its scheduled missions and returns to charge with no human intervention on site. Its 54 minutes of flight time cover extended patrols, its fast charge (15 % to 95 % in 27 minutes) chains rotations, and its takeoff in around ten seconds answers urgent alarm verifications.

Its IP55 rating and its -20 °C to 50 °C operating range let it fly in rain, dust and extreme temperatures: this is what sets it apart from a conventional piloted drone, and what allows permanent outdoor deployment on a roof, an industrial site or a sensitive perimeter.

Automation with DJI FlightHub 2

The Matrice 4TD is operated entirely remotely through DJI FlightHub 2: recurring mission planning, intelligent object detection (people, vehicles, boats, thermal anomalies), real-time streaming to the control room and sharing with ground teams. Its on-board relay mode extends transmission range for large sites.

Safety and reliability

Omnidirectional obstacle sensing is optimised for low-light environments and spots thin obstacles such as cables. Positioning through 5-constellation GNSS and vision fusion keeps the aircraft stable even under interference. The drone is covered by DJI Care Enterprise for its first year.
