Presentation
The MetScan Nano 1 is a compact drone methane detection and mapping system, using TDLAS (Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy) technology. Designed specifically for the DJI Matrice 4D/4TD and DJI Dock 3, it enables autonomous and repeatable leak detection missions.
Ideal for LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) inspections of gas distribution networks, urban pipelines and biogas plants, it meets the requirements of the EU Methane Regulation and OGMP 2.0.
Key Benefits
- Dock 3 Autonomous Missions – Schedule Unmanned On-Site Detection Rounds
- Compact form factor – Optimized for the Matrice 4D/4TD payload
- TDLAS Technology – Selective Methane Measurement Without Cross-Interference
- AIRINS.ai Platform: Flight Data Visualization, Analysis, and Reporting
Drone compatibility
- DJI Matrice 4D/4TD – Direct E-Port Connection (Native)
- DJI Dock 3 – Autonomous Missions via Matrice 4D/4TD

Access to the AIRINS.ai platform
Operating the system requires access to the AIRINS.ai platform, and that access is not free of charge:
- Access is covered by a paid, time-limited license (Ultra or Standard plan), on top of which the account opening fee applies.
- As an alternative to buying a license, a subscription plan is available: it combines a refundable security deposit, a quarterly fee including a set km allowance, and per-km billing beyond that allowance.
- Terms and pricing of the subscription plan are available on request.

Combining UAV & 3D Scanning for Methane Leak Detection (0:34)
What is the difference between the MetScan V1 and the MetScan Nano 1?
The MetScan V1 is designed for DJI M350 RTK drones and offers a greater detection range, suitable for long-distance pipelines and large installations. The MetScan Nano 1 is optimized for the Matrice 4D/4TD and Dock 3, with a more compact form factor ideal for standalone and repeatable missions on urban distribution networks.
Is the MetScan Nano 1 compatible with the DJI Dock 3?
Yes. The MetScan Nano 1 is specifically designed to work with the DJI Matrice 4D/4TD and Dock 3, enabling autonomous unmanned methane detection missions on site.
Which package to choose: Ultra or Standard?
The Standard package is suitable for basic detection operations with CSV/KML export. The Ultra package is recommended for operators requiring 3D visualization, GeoJSON/Shapefile export, on-prem deployment, or advanced missions with Mission Merging. The Standard → Ultra upgrade is possible at any time.
When will the MetScan Nano 1 be available?
The MetScan Nano 1 will be available in the second quarter of 2026 (Q2 2026). Contact us to reserve your unit or get a personalized quote.
