Measuring radioactivity across an area without exposing anyone

After an industrial incident, during a hazardous materials response or for a site inspection, the Sniffer4D nuclear radiation detector takes the measurement into the air: the drone flies over the area, the sensor records the gamma and neutron dose rate in µSv/h, and each reading is georeferenced. The ground team reads the map live and decides, with figures to back it up, where to intervene and with what protection.

A fixed sensor from the Sniffer4D family

Unlike the Sniffer4D Nano 2 Plus and its interchangeable gas modules, the radiation detector is a dedicated sensor, with no modules to configure. It is mounted as a payload on the DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK. To cover both gases and radioactivity on the same site, the two sensors are deployed on separate missions; we advise you on the right configuration.

Data in AIRINS.ai

Readings are displayed in real time and mapped in 2D and 3D in AIRINS.ai, the platform shared by all AIRINS sensors. The mission history makes it possible to document how a site changes over time and to produce the material needed for the incident report.

Warranty

Warranty. Standard one-year warranty. The extension can only be purchased with the initial order, at 20% of the total product value per additional year, up to two years of extension. After the warranty period, the hardware and software remain fully usable. The sensor is factory-calibrated; an annual return to AIRINS for inspection is recommended.
