The Kronos M4 is the Parachute Recovery System (PRS) and Flight Termination System (FTS) specifically designed for the DJI Matrice 4. Developed by Dronavia, it converts your drone into a Class C5 EASA-compliant aircraft, granting access to STS-01, STS-02 flight scenarios and SORA/PDRA authorizations.

In the event of a critical incident, the internal FTS instantly cuts the motors while the parachute deploys autonomously in 0.27 seconds, significantly reducing impact energy and protecting people and property on the ground.

Class C5 Compliance and EASA Regulation

The Kronos M4 conversion kit is certified according to European standards:

Internal FTS Installation

The internal circuit breaker system (FTS) installation in the DJI Matrice 4 must be carried out by a certified technician in an authorized workshop. Drone Parts Center has a workshop in Nivelles (Belgium) for this service. The drone can also be sent via postal delivery (shipping costs on request or at your expense).

The DJI manufacturer warranty is preserved: simply remove the conversion kit before sending the drone for DJI repair.

Annual Maintenance and Inspection

Annual inspection is mandatory to maintain system compliance and certification validity. It includes:

• Full PRS and FTS inspection
• Deployment test
• Replacement of consumables if necessary
• Certification renewal for 12 months
