The bank is steep. The waterway is in flood. The site is contaminated and access on foot would put your technicians at risk. Or simply: the sampling point is in the middle of a body of water, out of reach of any ground equipment.

The AIRINS Speedip V2+ solves this problem. The drone flies to the GPS point, lowers the cable, collects the sample at the desired depth, and returns. The whole process is automated via DJI Pilot 2 waypoint missions. Several sampling points can be programmed on a single flight.

Why “PFAS-Ready” matters

PFAS, the “forever chemicals”, are subject to growing regulatory attention across Europe. The Drinking Water Directive (2020/2184) sets strict thresholds. Yet the main risk when sampling for PFAS analysis isn’t the analysis itself, it’s cross-contamination from the sampling equipment.

The Speedip V2+’s PFAS-Ready package uses lab-validated materials to guarantee no contamination. Three 1L stainless steel containers are included, specifically designed for these analyses.

Built-in safety

The Speedip V2+ isn’t just a bucket on a rope. The system includes:

  • Tangle detection, the drone stops and alerts
  • Emergency cable cutter, releases the cable to free the drone
  • Ground detection, avoids invalid samples
  • Downward-facing camera, situational awareness for the operator
