DJI Matrice 300 RTK – CSM Radar

The CSM radar was designed by DJI to further enhance the obstacle detection of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK.

This radar uses millimeter-wave circular scanning (MSC) technology and allows the power of the drone’s six internal collision sensors to be increased. The detection is 360° horizontally, 30° vertically and 24° up. The accessory should be installed on top of the M300 RTK at the PSDK port for optimal operation.

It greatly improves the safety of the drone on mission because equipped with this module, the M300 RTK can detect thin power lines and branches (if they are in the detection field ~ of 1.5 to 30 meters). The radar sends radio waves and instantly calculates the time it takes for the wave to return to it and thus accurately determine the distance of the object from the drone.
