DJI Matrice 300 RTK – Gimbal Damper

The gimbal damper is an essential component of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK’s suspension system. It absorbs vibrations generated by the drone’s motors and movements, ensuring stable and sharp images from Zenmuse pods mounted below or above the chassis.

Function

The M300 RTK’s damping system uses rubber elements and springs to mechanically isolate the gimbal from high-frequency vibrations. A worn or damaged damper can cause jello (ripples) in captured videos and images.
