Prices include 21% VAT. Packs of 3, 5, 10 and 20 licenses apply to a single end user. Any other quantity is quoted by Agisoft on request.

Who can buy this license

Universities, colleges, technical and vocational schools, correspondence schools, along with their students and their officially employed teaching or research staff.

Government bodies, research institutes and museums are not eligible under Agisoft’s reading of the policy, even with a teaching mission. A well-documented case can overturn an initial refusal: affiliation with a recognised education system, an education-sector NACE code, certifying training programmes, no commercial use.

Agisoft can request written proof of eligibility at any time after purchase. Without proof, the price difference up to the commercial rate is charged.

The license is technically identical to the commercial version. The difference is only in the holder’s status and the ban on commercial use.

Counting licenses for a classroom or a lab

One license per seat used at the same time, including the teacher. For 5 students and 1 teacher working simultaneously, 6 licenses are needed, so a 10-license pack or a quote for an intermediate quantity.

Licenses are registered to the institution, not to a specific teacher, using an email address on the academic domain.

Delivery and activation

Frequently asked questions

Our training centre is not a university, are we eligible?

It depends on the institution’s status. A training centre affiliated with a public education system and delivering certifying programmes can be eligible after Agisoft reviews the case.

Does the Educational license need to be renewed every year?

No. It is perpetual, just like the commercial license. Only the email-based technical support is limited to 12 months.

Can a student keep the license after graduating?

Yes, for personal use only. Any professional use after graduation requires a commercial license.
