DJI Matrice 300 RTK – CSM Radar

The CSM radar was designed by DJI to further improve obstacle detection of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK. This radar uses Circular Scanning Millimeter-Wave technology (CSM) and enhances the power of the drone’s six internal collision sensors. Detection is 360° horizontally, 30° vertically, and 24° upwards. The accessory must be installed on top of the M300 RTK at the PSDK port for optimal operation. It greatly improves the drone’s safety during missions because, equipped with this module, the M300 RTK can detect thin power lines and branches (if they are within the detection range ~ from 1.5 to 30 meters). The radar sends radio waves and instantly calculates the time it takes for the wave to return, thus accurately determining the distance of the object from the drone.
