Dual main camera system

The DJI Air 3 drone is distinguished by its main dual-camera system, a remarkable innovation within the Air range. It cleverly combines a 1/1.3" wide-angle CMOS camera with a 3x 1/1.3" CMOS telecamera, all in a sleek, compact design. Despite their identical sensor size, these two cameras offer different focal lengths, guaranteeing consistent image quality and incredibly dynamic imaging possibilities.

Dual camera - HDR 4K/60 fps videos

The Air 3's two 1/1.3" CMOS sensors offer support for native dual ISO, enabling direct output of 4K/60 fps HDR video without cropping. Thanks to this feature, footage shot by either camera stands out for its rich colors and natural lighting transitions, delivering stunningly accurate results.

Both cameras support D-Log M 10-bit and HLG 10-bit color profiles. D-Log M 10-bit profiles preserve more detail in shadows and highlights, offering greater editing flexibility. The 10-bit HLG profile, on the other hand, increases dynamic range and enables excellent imaging results without the need for color calibration.

The new battery charging station features an innovative energy transfer function. By simply pressing and holding the function button, the remaining energy of several batteries is transferred to the one with the highest remaining energy capacity[6]. This feature results in a better-charged battery, particularly useful in situations where recharging capacity is limited.

360-degree safety: All-in-one obstacle detection

Thanks to its omnidirectional detection system, the DJI Air 3 has a global view of its environment, enabling it to spot obstacles in all directions. When obstacles are detected, the DJI Air 3 makes use of the APAS 5.0 system for smooth avoidance, ensuring safer flight. Thanks to an advanced noise-reduction algorithm, the DJI Air 3's camera can capture noise-free footage at up to 4K/30 fps in dimly lit environments or at night.	Choose from four options, including Free, Circle, Course Lock and Waypoint, to capture timelapse sequences at up to 4K horizontal or 2.7K vertical.	Select 4K/100 fps[4] or 1080p/100 fps[4] to directly record a 4x slow-motion video	In single-shot mode, the DJI Air 3 uses SmartPhoto 3.0 by default, which can automatically select between HDR, Hyperlight and scene recognition depending on the scenario for best imaging results. In HDR DNG format[11]format, the camera can record a wider dynamic range with built-in contrast enhancement.
