Autel Robotics EVO II V3 series achieves C2 certification.

Finally, we can provide you with crucial information about certification requirements for our drones and upcoming changes, in line with European drone regulations. Here's what you need to know:

Autel Robotics has recently obtained C2 certification for the EVO II V3 series. This represents an important milestone for Autel Robotics in complying with the European Drone Regulation (EU) 2019/945 (R945), offering users increased capabilities and greater freedom of operation.

C2 certification for the EVO II V3 series requires a firmware update to comply with the latest regulatory standards.

As a remote pilot, from January 1, 2024, the Class C2 marking on the EVO II V3 allows you to operate in the 'Open Category', subcategory A2, after passing an online training course, the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC), as well as in subcategory A3. Please consult the website of your National Aviation Authority to find out how to take this training and examination. The course can be taken in any EASA member state.

To meet the stringent requirements and achieve C2 certification, Autel Robotics has collaborated with Applus, an EASA-approved Notified Body. They act on behalf of EASA to ensure that all C2 requirements are tested and met before EASA authorizes the Class Marking.
