32x zoom
When arriving at a scene, firefighters need to see particularly critical areas and get an accurate picture of the overall situation. The ANAFI USA SE UAV's state-of-the-art gimbal and lenses were designed with this in mind. The 32x zoom lens is based around two 21 megapixel cameras that allow operators to see the scene in great detail from up to 5 km away. ANAFI USA can spot details as small as 1 cm at a distance of 50 m, with precision.
The zoom image obtained is merged with those obtained by the FLIR Boson camera from ANAFI USA. This allows operators to easily locate hot spots with the thermal camera, while distinguishing people on site and any other important details in the image visible from up to 2 km away.
In the example image below, the drone flies over solar panels at an altitude of 40m. Thanks to the powerful zoom of ANAFI USA, the pilot is able to detect heat anomalies present on a precise area of a solar panel, at the centimeter scale.
Image stabilization with a 32x zoom represents a real technological challenge on such a light drone (500 g). Parrot has succeeded in meeting this challenge by combining the gimbal with 3-axis digital stabilisation, obtained via image processing.

The most demanding first aid teams and professional users need to be able to deploy a drone to the area very quickly. To meet this vital requirement, the ANAFI USA drone is operational in less than 55 seconds - including unfolding, ignition, establishing the secure radio connection and take-off.
ANAFI USA operates inside a building without GPS, allowing it to be launched in a room and then sent outside through a window, before returning to the starting point when the mission is complete.
This new drone is so maneuverable that it can also take off from the palm of one hand like a paper airplane.
With no native no-fly zone restrictions, ANAFI USA gives its operators the freedom to take off as soon as necessary, regardless of the mission, while taking responsibility for the area covered.

Reliable and secure
The ANAFI USA drone puts safety first for professional users.
The photos and videos taken by the drone are stored in an encrypted and ultra-secure manner on its SD (Secure Digital) card, based on an AES-XTS algorithm (512-bit key length), so that they cannot be read if the SD card or drone is lost. An encryption key is then the only way to access this data.
ANAFI USA also has a secure connection using the WPA2 protocol between the controller and the drone.
Before updating a new firmware, a verification of its digital signature is required, which prevents possible malicious attempts to modify the drone software.
Parrot has chosen open standards and protocols (including Wi-Fi, WPA2, RTP/RTSP, H.264 and GUTMA) to ensure trust and interoperability of recorded data.
Users can opt to share their data via the FreeFlight 6 application. By default, data is not shared; user consent is required. Once this feature is enabled and consent is given, flight data and logs are stored on secure servers in Europe, in addition to the copies kept locally on the drone. The drone's functionality complies with the rules of the RGPD, the European regulation on the protection of personal data.

With its customizable RTH (Return to Home) feature, ANAFI USA allows users to end their flights exactly where they want. RTH occurs automatically if the drone is disconnected, or if its battery level becomes too low, to protect the investment.
ANAFI USA accurately records the satellite coordinates of the points of interest you designate to give operations managers a clear view of the terrain and quickly detect missing persons or potential hazards.

ANAFI USA has been designed to meet the needs of surveillance, search and rescue, critical missions and crime scene exploration. These uses require great discretion from the teams during their operations. Its 79 dB sound signature at a distance of 1 m makes ANAFI USA undetectable at 130 m. It does not cause any alert that could jeopardize the success of the observation operation.
ANAFI USA's ability to capture 1cm detail at 150m distance with its 32x zoom lens allows for the detection of moving persons up to 2km away by day. At night, the FLIR Boson® Thermal Camera can locate a missing person or a potential suspect up to 150 m away.
Once the target is detected, the FreeFlight 6 control application allows the exact location to be shared with the intervention teams.
ANAFI USA is compatible with decision support tools. During a mission to find a missing person or a fire involving the management of several drones, the DroneSense management platform makes it possible to develop, size and manage a fleet of ANAFI USA.
Pix4Dcapture and Pix4Dmapper software allow to quickly map in 3D an accident scene to reopen a road safely. Pix4Dreact allows to map a search area without internet connection to detect, in collaborative mode, points of interest where to send the drone for reconnaissance.
