Once the license request has been created, do not change the motherboard, processor or hard drive: the license would become invalid.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n  <h2>1. Install DJI Terra<\/h2>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">1<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Download the software<\/h3>\r\n    <p>On the connected computer, open the official download page <a href=\"https:\/\/enterprise.dji.com\/dji-terra\/downloads\">enterprise.dji.com\/dji-terra\/downloads<\/a> and download the Windows version of DJI Terra (<span class=\"file\">.iso<\/span> file). Screenshot: DJI website, October 2026.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n  <\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">2<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Open the ISO file and start the installation<\/h3>\r\n    <p>In File Explorer, right-click the ISO file and choose <span class=\"ui\">Open<\/span>: Windows displays it as a disc drive. Open this drive and double-click <span class=\"file\">Terra.exe<\/span>. If the ISO does not open, extract it with 7-Zip or WinRAR and run <span class=\"file\">Terra.exe<\/span> from the extracted folder.<\/p>\r\n    <p>Windows asks for permission to make changes: click <span class=\"ui\">Yes<\/span>. The installation requires administrator rights.<\/p>\r\n  <\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">3<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Follow the setup wizard<\/h3>\r\n    <p>Choose the language, the installation folder and the shortcuts you want, check the summary, then click <span class=\"ui\">Install<\/span>. A black command window opens while the driver is being installed: this is normal. Create the license request<\/h2>\r\n  <p>These steps are done <strong>on the processing PC<\/strong>, the one that will use the license.<\/p>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">4<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Install CodeMeter<\/h3>\r\n    <p>CodeMeter is the license manager used by DJI Terra. In the DJI Terra installation folder, open <span class=\"file\">CodeMeter &gt; Installer<\/span>, run <span class=\"file\">CodeMeterRuntime.exe<\/span> and follow the instructions.<\/p>\r\n  <\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">5<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Import the Terra license template<\/h3>\r\n    <p>Still in the installation folder, open <span class=\"file\">CodeMeter &gt; LIF<\/span> and double-click <span class=\"file\">Terra_license.WibuCmLIF<\/span>. Specify the file location and name, then click <span class=\"ui\">Commit<\/span>. Exchange the license with DJI<\/h2>\r\n  <p>This step is done <strong>on the connected computer<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">8<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Fill in the exchange page<\/h3>\r\n    <p>Open <a href=\"https:\/\/terra-license.djiservice.org\/\">terra-license.djiservice.org<\/a>, <span class=\"ui\">Single Device License Exchange<\/span> tab (the language can be changed at the top right), then enter:<\/p>\r\n    <ul class=\"plain\">\r\n      <li><span class=\"ui\">Email<\/span>: the address that will receive the license file;<\/li>\r\n      <li><span class=\"ui\">Exchange Type<\/span>: <span class=\"ui\">First-time Exchange<\/span> for a first activation;<\/li>\r\n      <li><span class=\"ui\">Exchange Code<\/span>: the exchange code provided by Drone Parts Center;<\/li>\r\n      <li><span class=\"ui\">License File<\/span>: click <span class=\"ui\">Upload<\/span> and choose the <span class=\"file\">.WibuCmRaC<\/span> file.<\/li>\r\n    <\/ul>\r\n    <p>Click <span class=\"ui\">Next<\/span> to confirm the exchange.<\/p>\r\n    <figure class=\"w75\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/drone-parts-center.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/procedure-dji-t2-exchange.webp\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"dji terra offline\"><figcaption>DJI Terra license exchange page. Save it to the USB drive.<\/p>\r\n  <\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n  <h2>4. Activate the license on the processing PC<\/h2>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"step\"><div class=\"num\">10<\/div><div class=\"body\">\r\n    <h3>Import the license<\/h3>\r\n    <p>Copy the <span class=\"file\">.WibuCmRaU<\/span> file to the processing PC, <strong>the same one that created the request<\/strong>, then double-click it. Screenshot: DJI guide \u201cPreparation Before Using DJI Terra\u201d (previous interface).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n  <\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n  <div class=\"note\"><strong>Upgrading from Terra Standard to Terra Flagship.<\/strong> On the exchange page, choose <span class=\"ui\">Upgrade<\/span> as the exchange type, then enter the email address, the upgrade exchange code and the <span class=\"ui\">Master ID<\/span>. The Master ID is in the first email received at activation; if you cannot find it, contact Drone Parts Center or DJI support.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n  <h2>Good to know<\/h2>\r\n  <ul class=\"plain\">\r\n    <li><strong>Updates.<\/strong> A perpetual license includes free updates for one year from its first binding. After that, a perpetual license upgrade is required to install new versions.<\/li>\r\n    <li><strong>Changing computers or hardware.<\/strong> If the license becomes invalid after a hardware change, you need to request a license unbinding from DJI support.
